Tuned in to Learning is a creative, systematic and innovative approach to teach various social skills. It is a motivational and fun way to teach children pragmatic language with upbeat music and song lyrics that keep everyone humming even when the lesson is over! This program is beneficial for normal developing and language delayed children. Simply wonderful!! This is a unique, effective program for kids with autism that is fun!!! It is a 'must have' for families and professionals dealing with autism. My students blossomed as I watched them engaged in ways that addressed their communication needs in all settings and had them interacting with their peers. This program supports ‘best practices in autism’ and I have been fortunate to see this wonderful approach in action. My students have reaped huge benefits from this all-encompassing approach that addresses their learning style in such a delightful way. As a speech therapist, I have seen children increase their attention and interest when music is a part of the session. They remember certain songs, and suddenly, they can recall a skill, such as identifying and describing different emotions. As a group, the Tuned in to Learning songs are shared among the members and that makes social connections even stronger. Real life, fun pictures and creative, upbeat songs make learning to communicate a blast! The students and I love, love, love the Tuned in to Learning program. We joyfully use it every day. You’ve captured the essential techniques necessary for the children to learn and make it playful at the same time. You’ve also made it possible for someone without advanced musical skills to provide a concept-rich music program. I can’t say how much I truly have enjoyed watching my speech and language students with autism come alive while participating in the Volume 1 “Social Skills and Pragmatics” activities. I have one student who demands the CD every time he comes to a speech session. We have also been using the “Wh” questions volume with one of our students; and guess what? He spontaneously used a “why” question today in class. Everyone is elated! Thank you, again for developing such a fun way to teach and learn. Tuned in to Learning will certainly help me provide more joy to all of my special needs students in speech and language. Maurie Hanson, Speech Language Pathologist

The Tuned in to Learning program blends easily into our daily routine and helps learners at all levels connect to the curriculum. Music is one medium that truly highlights my students’ strengths!

Tuned in to Learning is a great resource to incorporate into intensive one-on-one sessions and is amazing for generalizing skills as well.
Siri Andrews, Ph.D., Clinical Psychologist
I love how Tuned in to Learning works! My students are so excited to listen to the songs and the pacing is just right for those who are slower to respond or have limited language. They are even able to recall phrases or lyrics from the songs during independent work and use them as a problem solving strategy.
Stacy C. Matteson, MA, Special Education Teacher
Music was always a preferred activity for our students with multiple disabilities. However, “listening” to music did not always encourage active participation and progress. Tuned In to Learning offered our students the motivation they needed to independently use purposeful movement, engage in communication activities and develop social skills. The program captures their attention and makes our traditional lessons fun. As a teacher, I love how each song ties to our standards based curriculum and is flexible enough to individualize for each student.
Jennifer Hunt, MA, Program Diagnostic Resource Teacher (Medically Physically Challenged Program)
Tuned in to Learning has continually provided a scaffold for our students to make progress in their IEP goal areas as well as offering a useful tool for our educational staff to integrate into their lessons.

My high school students who are pre-verbal are extremely receptive to music and are effectively engaged in the multi-media curriculum from Tuned Into Learning that includes
wonderful pictures and great color photos. We have used these products in our daily routine in group sessions and see some unique responses and effective learning taking place with students who are hard to engage and teach.
Eddie Greenberg, High School Teacher
I have a 9 year old son with autism who has had the pleasure of using the Tuned in to Learning program for the last 2 years at school. The benefits of this program are invaluable, helping to provide a bridge in facilitating relationships, self expression and communication. The interpersonal timing and reciprocity in shared play, turn-taking, listening and responding to another person are augmented with these techniques. At home we enjoy follow-through using the song scripts, visual supports, and CD. We find this to be very helpful in generalizing the skills acquired in the music setting to the outside world around him. Heidi Morrison, parent
We received the Tuned in to Learning materials late last week and are really enjoying them. It is helping breathe new life and laughter into Jackson's program. The photos are magnificent and the delay time, is just great, on other CD's I have to keep hitting the pause button!
Fiona Keller, parent
I have been teaching a special education preschool class for five months without a lot of support or contact from other special education teachers. Your books and corresponding songs have become the backbone of my program. They have proven to be a beautiful learning experience. The songs and photographs keep the children's attention and have helped them learn new skills. Your program is a very successful part of my teaching style that I will always use.
Carol Fabert, special education teacher
Tuned in to Learning offers well thought out tunes that will have you singing them throughout the day! This program is easily implemented by both parents and professionals and provides a bridge to generalization in both special education and inclusion settings.
Pam McIntosh, MA, Special Education Preschool Teacher
The Tuned in to Learning Adapted Dance & Movement CD is a wonderful way to make physical therapy and exercise more enjoyable! I have been able to incorporate it into my therapy sessions to enhance posture, balance, bilateral coordination, strength and endurance training, motor sequencing, and fluidity of movement. I’m not sure who has more fun with it, my students or me!
Sharon Criger, RPT, Physical Therapist
The Tuned in to Learning Adapted Dance & Movement CD is an adapted physical education teacher’s dream! The thoughtful and motivating songs offer movements to reinforce directionality, laterality, bilateral coordination, motor planning, sequencing, and much more… all at an appropriate pace for students at any level.
